Quietus-Tinnitus Relief. Is it possible to live with such noise?

Tinnitus is a common problem that is responsible for creating the distraction of noise in the ear of the victim. It is defined as "subjective sensation of ringing or tinkling“. According to the Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy, it can be a "buzzing, ringing, roaring, whistling or hissing, or be configured for more complex sounds that change over time“.

1. What causes it?

When presented with tinnitus, the patient may look puzzled, what is wrong. It may be that it is a symptom of a brain hemorrhage, a mental disorder or a tumor. Fortunately, tinnitus is rarely due to serious illness. In some cases it could occur after a head injury. Some medications such as aspirin in high doses, can cause temporary tinnitus as a side effect.

2. What is the harm?

According to Professor Axelsson, Gotenburg(Sweden), tinnitus expert investigator, the main causes of tinnitus are loud noises. People who wear headphones, to cite one case, they often hurt when they hear music with many decibels. One consequence could be tinnitus relief. Include Richard Hallam’s remark in his book Living with Tinnitus: Our body is not completely silent, so that some degree of ‘tinnitus’ is normal. The movements of the muscles, bones, blood and hair generated sounds. It is understood that under normal conditions, these background noises are lost to the sounds of the environment, so they are simply not heard. For most people, however, it does not constitute any problem.

3. Treatment

An examination by a competent physician may be the first step in learning to live with tinnitus. What can you do if this symptom is severe in your case? The first would be to

consult a doctor. He will help you know if the disorders that causes it is hopeless. Unfortunately, most of the time it is incurable. But there are several things that can help you manage the condition.

4. Operation: The Tinnitus booklet, published by the British Tinnitus Association, says: “Sometimes it’s symptomatic of a middle ear disorder, or abnormality of the capillaries or muscle near the ear. In these exceptional cases, it is possible to eliminate the tinnitus by surgical intervention.”

5. Medication: If a patient cannot sleep or suffers from anxiety, stress or depression, your doctor may prescribe sedatives or antidepressants to relieve such symptoms.

6. Hearing aids and masking: When is comes to minor hearing loss, a hearing aid can be very helpful. There is also a kind of instrument, called masking, which produces a background sound in order to mask the tinnitus noise. Although sometimes the music from the radio or the sound of a fan get the same result.

Other treatments by Professor Axelsson: “Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can be very useful in some patients. It involves placing the patient in a hyperbaric chamber and subjected to pure oxygen atmosphere in order to accelerate the healing of the inner ears ringing”. Moreover, since in some patients the symptoms of tinnitus seem intensified when under stress or anxiety, some doctors recommend various treatment based on relaxation exercises. Actually, learning to relax and dissipate as much as possible the physical or mental stress can be helpful.

This is one of the many diseases that we must endure until the arrival of the new world in which “no resident will say: “I am sick”. (Isaiah 33:24) Until that happens, the tinnitus cures can be frustrating, but does not have to ruin or dominate your life. Rest assured that it is a noise that you can learn to live with.

If you would like to learn how to cure your Tinnitus permanently ….without drugs, without risky surgery, without any typical Tinnitus treatments, then you need to read this important information.
